Januari 2024, Denmark. This kind, gentle chestnut pinto mare I got to photograph in the snow in Denmark. The pied marking on her front frames her pale muzzle, with snow caught in the hairs around her nose. Simple, quiet, exactly right. It is the atmosphere in this photograph that makes it stay with me, and brings me back to that moment.

IPPA 2024 — Bronze
AluDibond print
This print is made on aluminium composite: a rigid, lightweight panel with an aluminium surface on both sides and a solid core. The image is printed directly onto the panel with a matte finish. No glass, no frame needed. It hangs against the wall and has a clean look that suits the work well. AluDibond is water-resistant and built to last. Each print comes ready to hang.
Photo under acrylic glass
The image is face-mounted behind a sheet of clear acrylic glass. This gives the print a deep, luminous quality, colours are rich, details are sharp, and the surface has a subtle glow. It is heavier than an AluDibond print, the acrylic glas reflects. Each print comes ready to hang.
Hahnemühle Fine Art Paper: Photo Rag and Pearl
These prints are made on museum-quality fine art paper by Hahnemühle, one of the oldest paper makers in the world. Photo Rag is a matte, cotton paper with a soft texture. Pearl has a slight sheen that brings out more contrast and depth in the image. Both are archival quality, meant to last generations. These prints are unframed and unmatted, shipped flat in protective packaging. Ready to frame as you choose.
