These terms and conditions apply to all purchases made through irisvanvelzen.nl and icelandichorseproject.com, both operated by Iris van Velzen, based in Westerwolde, the Netherlands.
By placing an order, you agree to these terms.
1. Who I am

2. Products
I offer the following types of products:
Physical products, including art prints, wall art, folio boxes, books, calendars, card decks, magazines, stickers and postcards etc.
Digital products, including downloadable files delivered by email or via a download link.
All images and content remain my intellectual property. Purchases are for personal use only. Reproduction, resale, or commercial use of any product or image is not permitted without my prior written permission.
3. Prices and payment
All prices are listed in euros and include Dutch VAT where applicable.
I accept payment via Stripe, PayPal, and invoice. The payment method available to you will be shown at checkout or communicated upon ordering.
Payment is due before shipment or delivery of your order. For invoice payments, the payment term is 14 days unless otherwise agreed.
4. Delivery — physical products
Delivery times vary depending on the product and your location. Some products are produced and shipped directly by my printing partners. Others are first checked by me before being sent on to you. I will inform you of the expected delivery time at the time of your order.
I ship worldwide. International shipping times vary by destination and are outside my control once the order has been dispatched.
Shipping costs are calculated at checkout or communicated separately for custom orders.
If a product arrives damaged, please contact me within 7 days of receipt with a photo of the damage. I will find a suitable solution together with you.
5. Delivery — digital products
Digital products are delivered by email or via a download link after payment is confirmed. Delivery is typically within 1 to 2 business days.
6. Right of withdrawal — physical products
You have the right to cancel your order within 14 days of receipt, without giving any reason, in accordance with European consumer law.
To exercise this right, please contact me at info@irisvanvelzen.nl or info@icelandichorseproject.com within 14 days of receiving your order. You will then have a further 14 days to return the product.
Return shipping costs are at your own expense unless the product is defective or incorrect.
Refunds will be processed within 14 days of receiving the returned product, using the same payment method as the original transaction.
Products must be returned in their original condition and packaging.
7. Right of withdrawal — digital products
Once a digital product has been downloaded or accessed, the right of withdrawal no longer applies, in accordance with Article 16(m) of the European Consumer Rights Directive.
By completing your purchase of a digital product, you explicitly agree that delivery may begin immediately and that you waive your right of withdrawal upon download.
8. Custom and limited edition orders
Some products are produced specifically for you or are part of a limited edition. These orders may have different conditions regarding returns and cancellations, which I will communicate clearly at the time of ordering.
9. Complaints
If you are not satisfied with your order, please contact me as soon as possible. I aim to respond within 5 business days and will always look for a fair solution.

10. Liability
I take great care with the quality of my products. However, I cannot be held liable for damage caused by incorrect use, transport damage not reported within 7 days, or circumstances beyond my control.
My liability is at all times limited to the value of the order in question.
11. Governing law
These terms and conditions are governed by Dutch law. Any disputes will be submitted to the competent court in the Netherlands.
12. Changes to these terms
I reserve the right to update these terms and conditions. The most recent version will always be available on this page.
